The Project

Public Health Power Hour was born out of a lack of public health presence on up and coming platforms like Clubhouse and Twitter Spaces. The team at Vital Strategies felt strongly that the robust catalog of topics Public Health encompasses fit perfectly with this experimental live audio-only platform.

Branding

The branding needed to be clean and easy to use, but also not look like something you’d expect from a public health talk. Relying solely on Vital’s core colors of Blue and Orange, PHPH fits in as a product of Vital while leaning much bolder and more graphic than core Vital content.

Social Media

Public Health Power Hour exists exclusively for and on social media – so the main components for this project were templates for promoting upcoming episodes, highlighting quotes from past episodes, and advertising the speakers joining each week. PHPH is promoted across Vital Strategies’ Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. You can tune in every other Thursday on Twitter Spaces (previously on Clubhouse) for new episodes.

The Newsletter

In addition to posting across social media channels, the main way Vital spread the news about the new series was via e-newsletter blasts. The newsletter needed to make people excited about tuning in, intrigued by what topics are coming up, and disappointed they missed the prior weeks episode.
