L’ATTITUDE
L’ATTITUDE: Press
The Project
L’ATTITUDE wanted to revamp their press page on their website prior to the launch of their 2021 event registration. The main complaints from the original page included lack of organization, structure and an inability to search–users were forced to engaged with one long scroll of content not properly tagged or labeled. The goal of the new page was to allow for users to engage with more content more easily by showcasing L’ATTITUDE’s most recent press coverage in it’s own section, followed by a section that included all historical press coverage with the ability to search and filter by content type, date and source.

Necessary Improvements: Put the User First
L’ATTITUDE as an organization gets a lot of press – between news segments, interviews and mentions from prominent celebrities, there is never a lack of content to pull from press mentions. The original version of the Press page was not built to work with such a large influx of content – without search, highlight or tagging functionality users were dropped into a never ending scroll experience that made it nearly impossible to find what you were looking for or keep users there long enough to know what is even available. As a result, the new and improved page needed to put the users experience first – by creating a highlights component at the top, L’ATTITUDE could prioritize what users saw when they landed on the page, and by introducing a search functionality in the body of the page it allowed users to target what they are interested in while highlighting the robust amount of coverage the organization gets.
